This Japanese woodblock print captures wild geese in flight against a luminous full moon, rendered with the precision and elegance that made Ohara Koson instantly recognisable across the world. The composition feels both intimate and grand—a meditation on nature distilled into a single, unforgettable moment.

The bright, clear palette works beautifully in bathroom wall art and kitchens, where deep blues, silvers and warm tones lift the space without demanding attention. It's the kind of print that settles comfortably on a wall and rewards a lingering glance, bringing quiet vitality to functional rooms.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks, this print arrives unframed and rolled in a protective tube from our Newcastle shop. Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm and 70x100cm. Select from solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate finishes at checkout if you'd prefer it ready to hang. Explore more vibrant Japanese and international prints chosen for their ability to transform everyday spaces—this one in particular brings seasonal contemplation through the timeless drama of birds and moonlight.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
