Enjoy the convenience of fast shipping, making it effortless to add the final touch to your empty bed or couch. If you're seeking guidance on selecting the perfect cushions for your space, keep reading.

Collating Your Cushions

Where to begin, you ask? Let us guide you. First, consider your room's colour scheme, especially the furniture where your new pillows will sit. While an exact match isn't necessary, sticking to a similar colour palette, whether warm or cool tones is a wise choice. If your furniture is neutral, you can introduce a few contrasting shades within your chosen palette.

Alright, let's talk patterns. Layering various patterns can be delightful, as long as they harmonise in terms of colour. Be bold, but avoid going overboard; an excess of patterned pillows can be overwhelming. Balance it out with some solid-coloured cushions.

Now, the golden rule: don't overdo it. Generally, 4-5 decorative cushions suffice, depending on the size of your bed or couch. You don't want to overcrowd your space, and spending hours arranging pillows is less than ideal—unless, of course, it's your passion, in which case, follow your bliss.

For the little ones, get creative with adorable animal-shaped selections, and mix them with classic square and circular cushions.

WASHING INSTRUCTION - Wash outers at 30°C and no more than 800rpm spin cycle.

SIZING - Our cushions come in three sizes, 12" (30cm), 18" (45cm), or 24" (60cm). We have placed a size comparison guide on each product page. Please use a tape measure or rule to confirm sizing if unsure.

Handmade to order in the UK from premium faux suede. 221+ designs spanning animal portrait art, typography, vintage illustration, and our signature animal head character prints. Free UK delivery on orders over £60.

What material are your Cushions?

Our throw cushions are handmade to order from a beautiful faux-suede material. The cushion fabric is incredibly soft and luxurious, and the image is created using a dye sublimation print process to give superior reproduction quality, with unrivalled durability and colour vibrancy.

What can they be used for?

As well as poster prints, a carefully chosen pillow is the ultimate living room accessory. Throw our cushions on your favourite armchair or sofa to give it a whole new look and feel! Or why not add a couple to your bed to freshen up the look of your bedroom with minimal effort.

What is a Custom Cushion?

Our custom cushions are designs that we have made, and can have a custom message of your choice added to them. Choose from loads of styles from Neon, Graffiti and more and add your own text. Take inspiration from song lyrics, movie quotes, inspirational quotes and more.

Art print cushions have been part of Ink & Drop since the beginning — a natural extension of the print collection into home accessories that carry the same visual character. A well-chosen cushion does the same work as a well-chosen print: it says something about the person who picked it, and it changes the feel of a room without requiring a major overhaul.

The cushion collection spans the full range of Ink & Drop styles. Animal portrait art translates particularly well to cushions — a large fox or owl rendered in fine detail works as a standalone statement piece on an armchair or sofa. The animal head character prints carry the same impact on a cushion as they do framed on a wall, and often generate even more conversation because of where they turn up.

Typography and quote cushions offer a different kind of presence: a song lyric, a favourite phrase, or a bold typographic statement that anchors a corner of the room. These are especially popular as gifts where the message can be chosen to suit the recipient.

Vintage illustration cushions — botanical, natural history, and classic print styles — work well in more traditional interiors where the art should feel considered rather than decorative.

All cushions are handmade to order in the UK from premium faux suede using dye sublimation printing — the same process that ensures colour vibrancy and fade resistance across the print range. Each cushion includes the insert and is ready to use. Available in two sizes: 18"x18" (46x46cm) at £32 and 24"x24" (60x60cm) at £44.99, with free UK delivery on orders over £60.

What you'll find in this collection

Animal portrait and character art cushions — fox, stag, owl, and the iconic animal head character prints (a stag in a suit, a bear at a writing desk). Statement pieces for living rooms, armchairs, and home offices.

Typography, quote, and slogan cushions — song lyrics, famous quotes, bold typographic statements. A cushion with a message adds personality to any space and makes a distinctive, personal gift.

Available in 7 sizes from 21x30cm to 100x150cm, printed on 230gsm premium matte art paper with archival inks. Framed or unframed.

Handmade Quality & Print Integrity

Every cushion in this collection is selected to carry the same visual quality and character as the print range. Designs are drawn from across the Ink & Drop catalogue — animal portraits, character prints, typography, vintage illustration — and printed onto premium faux suede using dye sublimation, a process that produces exceptional colour depth, sharpness, and fade resistance that outlasts traditional fabric printing. All cushions are handmade to order in the UK and include the cushion insert. Available in two sizes: 18"x18" (46x46cm) at £32, and 24"x24" (60x60cm) at £44.99.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our art print cushions come in two sizes: 18"x18" (46x46cm) at £32, and 24"x24" (60x60cm) at £44.99. Both sizes are faux suede and include the cushion insert — ready to use straight out of the packaging.

All cushions are made from premium faux suede — a soft, luxurious fabric that holds print detail exceptionally well. The image is applied using dye sublimation printing, which bonds the inks directly into the fabric fibres rather than sitting on the surface. This gives superior colour vibrancy, sharpness, and durability compared to standard fabric printing, and the print will not peel, crack, or fade with normal use.

Yes — every cushion is printed and handmade to order in the UK. This means each one is produced fresh for your order rather than held in stock, which allows us to maintain print quality and offer the full range of 221+ designs. Standard production and dispatch is 2–3 business days, with free UK delivery on orders over £60.

Yes — we offer a range of custom cushion designs where you can add your own text. Choose from neon, graffiti, chalkboard, and other typographic styles and add a name, a quote, a song lyric, or any short message. Custom cushions are a popular gift option because the message can be tailored to suit the recipient. Browse the Custom Cushions section for available styles.

Cushions are consistently one of our most popular gift choices — they feel considered and personal in a way that a generic gift doesn’t, and there are enough styles in the collection to find something that suits almost any personality. Animal portrait cushions suit nature and wildlife lovers; character prints suit people with a more eclectic or maximalist taste; typography and quote cushions work well when you want the gift to carry a specific message. All orders arrive packaged and ready to give.
