Red Prints

Red is the most emotionally powerful colour in the spectrum — associated with energy, passion, and warmth. As wall art, red ranges from daring and bold to sophisticated and deep, depending on the shade and context.

Shades of Red in This Collection

• Crimson and burgundy — deep, rich, and sophisticated. Works in traditional and contemporary interiors. Pairs with gold, cream, and dark wood.
• Scarlet and cherry — classic, vivid red. High-energy and statement-making against white or neutral walls.
• Poppy red — bright, modern, and graphic. Works as a pure accent in contemporary interiors.
• Terracotta red — earthy, warm red-orange. One of the most popular interior accent tones.

Red in Art Styles

Red is a dominant colour in vintage propaganda and advertising poster art, where it carries authority and energy. Japanese woodblock prints use strong red and vermilion tones. Red flowers — poppies, roses, dahlias — are among the most popular botanical subjects. Abstract and graphic art uses red as an accent of maximum impact.

Using Red Wall Art

Red is most effective used as an accent rather than filling an entire wall. A single red print draws the eye and creates a focal point. In a dining room, deep red art creates warmth and appetite — red has long been associated with good dining environments. In bedrooms, deep burgundy or crimson prints feel rich and romantic rather than overwhelming.

Sizes and Framing

Red prints are available in seven sizes from 21x30cm to 100x150cm, framed or unframed. All produced on 230gsm matte art paper with archival inks.
