This stunning restoration of a vintage Japanese woodblock print brings together five captivating subjects—an oni mask, peacock, shishi lion, cat, and insect—each rendered with the meticulous detail and bold colour that defines Edo-period craftsmanship. Ichida Shoshichiro's composition balances intricate patterning with confident linework, creating a print that rewards close inspection.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the colours remain vibrant for decades. It's available in six sizes, from A4 right up to a commanding 70×100cm, making it equally at home as a bedroom accent or as the focal point of a gallery wall.

Each print is rolled carefully in a protective tube and dispatched from our Newcastle studio. Frame it in solid wood—black, white, natural oak, or ornate gold—or let it stand alone on quality paper. Either way, it's a proper conversation starter.

Professional Framing Service

When you add a frame to your order we will frame our print, so it arrives ready to hang on arrival.

Our solid wooden picture frames are supplied with a perspex front, a backboard, and a hanging kit pre-installed. Perspex is very difficult to break, lightweight, and as clear as glass.Your print will be fitted perfectly within your frame edge to edge as pictured. For a more contemporary look we do not supply mounts with our frames.

Please allow around 10 working days for frame deliveries before enquiring about your order. We make each frame to order and frame your print for you professionally so they take a bit longer than unframed orders.

The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
