This is Hasui Kawase's Saruiwa, Shiobara—a quietly powerful study of rock, water and stillness that sits somewhere between landscape and meditation. Kawase's woodblock compositions have an almost hypnotic quality, and this one's no exception. The subtle gradations and restrained palette make it feel fresh rather than fusty, which is why his work translates so well to modern interiors.

We hold the largest collection of Kawase reproductions anywhere, all printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks. That means colour stability you can actually trust, not fading regrets in five years. Pick from A4 right through to our largest canvas-sized option at 70x100cm—there's a format for every wall and every mood.

The print arrives rolled in a protective tube, ready to frame or hang as you choose. If you'd rather skip the framing faff, we offer the print ready-glazed in black, natural oak, white or ornate gold frames. Dispatched from Newcastle, it looks equally at home in a bedroom sanctuary, a dining room, or a minimalist hallway where subtlety does all the work.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
