This geological cross-section through the London Basin reveals the layered story beneath the city—chalk, clay, sand—rendered with beautiful precision by James Reynolds. It's a print that transforms how you think about London, whether you're a geology enthusiast or simply drawn to the quiet intrigue of what lies hidden underground.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, the muted, sophisticated colour palette works beautifully across all our sizes, from A4 up to 70x100cm. The toned-down earthy tones mean it integrates seamlessly into home office wall art and kitchen prints, or as part of a larger gallery arrangement, without competing for visual dominance.

Your print arrives rolled in a protective tube, dispatched from our Newcastle shop. Leave it unframed or select from solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate finishes at checkout—these come glazed and ready to hang. It's the sort of print that rewards a lingering look, revealing fresh detail each time you pass it.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
