What happens when you take a 19th-century portrait and add bubblegum? This Friedrich von Amerling altered art print is proof that classical paintings benefit from a gloriously pink bubble and a healthy dose of absurdity. The subject's dignified composure now clashes beautifully with the playful addition, turning heritage into something wonderfully modern and deeply silly in all the right ways.

It's the kind of piece that refuses to take itself seriously, which is exactly the point. Whether you're looking for quirky bedroom wall art or something to inject personality into a workspace, this print delivers both humour and genuine visual impact. Available in six sizes from A4 through to 70×100cm, it's printed on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks that stay vibrant for decades.

We've been selling distinctive home office prints and wall art from Newcastle for over a decade, and this one rolls up in a protective tube ready to hang. Free UK delivery on orders over £60. The kind of print that starts conversations and feels fresh every time you glance at it—maximalist energy without the visual noise.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
