This Hasui Kawase landscape captures the quietness of dawn with the kind of atmospheric clarity that made him one of Japan's finest shin-hanga artists. Mist rises, water reflects light, and stillness rewards close looking—it's the sort of piece that draws you back again and again. We've seen it work brilliantly as bedroom wall art where contemplative mood matters more than visual noise.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks, it's made to last for decades without fading. Choose from A4 through to 70x100cm, depending on your wall and how immersed you want to be in that misty, reflective space. If you'd rather skip the framing step, we can fit it to your choice of black, white, oak or gold frames and send it ready to hang.

This sits comfortably alongside other Japanese prints with a minimal sensibility—the kind that settles into a room and improves it quietly, day after day. Dispatched from Newcastle with free UK delivery over £60, unframed unless you opt for one at checkout.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
