This Hasui Kawase print captures morning mist rising over Beppu's thermal springs, distilled into a composition of remarkable calm. It's a masterclass in restraint—soft gradations, delicate linework, and an atmosphere that rewards long looking. If you're drawn to Japanese woodblock art for its ability to say so much with so little, this is the kind of piece that justifies the appreciation.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the subtle tones remain faithful to the original. It's available in A4, A3, A2, A1, plus 50x70cm and 70x100cm—each size holds its contemplative quality without compromise.

Works beautifully in a bedroom, living room, or kitchen. Add one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate—and it arrives ready to hang. Dispatched from Newcastle with free UK delivery over £60.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
