Vermeer's most enigmatic studio scene gets the poster treatment here. This is one of art history's greatest enigmas—a layered composition where a painter captures a model in classical dress, surrounded by symbolic objects that reward closer looking. We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the ochres, blues and shadows hold their depth whether you're viewing from across the room or leaning in close.

Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm and 70x100cm, it works equally well as a standalone statement or woven into a figurative gallery wall. The composition has enough going on to reward a second look—the map, the laurel wreath, that perfectly caught moment of artistic creation—but it's also substantial enough to live comfortably in a bedroom, hallway or living space without overstaying its welcome.

Choose it unframed and rolled in a protective tube for dispatch from our Newcastle base, or add one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate to get it gallery-ready. Works brilliantly in a bathroom too, where the moody palette and classical subject matter turn a functional space into something with real presence.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
