This Hokusai print captures one of Japan's most celebrated artists at his finest. The Yoshitsune Horse-Washing Falls at Yoshino showcases the delicate linework and compositional balance that made Hokusai legendary—here rendered with remarkable clarity on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that won't fade over decades.

Whether you're furnishing a bedroom with understated wall art or seeking to add contemplative depth to a dining space, this print works equally well in minimalist interiors and Scandinavian schemes. The matte finish and soft tones mean it sits comfortably on walls without demanding attention, yet rewards close looking with Hokusai's masterful detail.

Available in five sizes from A4 to 70×100cm, unframed or mounted in solid wood frames (black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate), it dispatches from our Newcastle studio and arrives rolled safely in a protective tube. Explore more Japanese woodblock prints and contemporary interpretations in our collection. This particular composition strikes a rare balance between grandeur and intimacy, as if inviting you to witness the scene rather than simply observe it.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
