Van Gogh's pencil sketches rarely get the attention they deserve, yet they're often where the real magic happens. This study of the postman—originally a preparatory drawing for one of his paintings—captures something raw and intimate that the finished work sometimes loses. It's a reminder that genius lives in the details, the hesitations, the thinking-on-paper moments.

We've printed this exhibition poster on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, so it'll hold its character for years. It's available in sizes from A4 right up to A1, depending on how much wall space you want to command. The sketch's delicate linework and subtle tonal shifts really sing when given room to breathe.

Whether you frame it or display it unframed, this print works equally well in a bedroom wall art, hallway, or living space. Pair it with other sketches for a gallery wall, or let it stand alone as a quiet conversation starter. There's something deeply human about a master artist's working drawings—and this one deserves to be seen.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
