This Hasui Kawase landscape captures autumn at Oirase with the refined elegance the Shin-Hanga master brought to every scene — misty water, delicate foliage, and that particular quality of light that made his work so revered. Kawase built on the Ukiyo-e tradition but pushed it forward, combining woodblock precision with a modern sensibility for nature's quieter moments.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the matte finish stays true to the original without glare, and the colours won't fade for decades. Whether you're drawn to bedroom wall art prints that calm the mind or pieces for a living space that reward close looking, this works beautifully at any scale — from A4 right up to our largest formats.

It arrives rolled and protected, dispatched from our Newcastle shop. Add a solid wood frame in black, white, oak or gold if you'd like it ready to hang straightaway. This is the sort of Japanese art print that settles into a room and deepens with time, particularly prized where the mood is contemplative rather than decorative.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
