This Japanese landscape print captures one of Hasui Kawase's most celebrated scenes—Kiyomizu Hall in Ueno—rendered in the artist's signature style of serene, atmospheric detail. Kawase was a master of depicting Japan's natural and architectural beauty, and this print showcases his gift for mood and precision, printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that'll stay vibrant for decades.

The soft, non-reflective matte finish brings out every nuance of the composition, from the temple's structure to the subtle gradations of sky and landscape. It's the kind of print that rewards close looking, whether you're hanging it in a bedroom for quiet contemplation or placing it where natural light can enhance its depth. We've printed it at sizes from A4 up to A1, so you can scale it to your space.

Want to go straight to the wall? Frame it in solid oak, natural wood, black, or gold ornate finishes—all glazed and ready to hang. Otherwise, it ships rolled in a protective tube from our Newcastle workshop. This is the kind of print that works as hard in a minimalist room as it does alongside other vintage antique pieces; it simply settles into any space with quiet authority.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
