This Japanese art print captures a serene morning in Beppu through the eyes of Hasui Kawase, one of Japan's most celebrated landscape artists. His distinctive style—refined, contemplative, minimal in its approach—translates beautifully to wall art, bringing a sense of calm to bedrooms, living spaces, and dining rooms alike. The composition draws you into a quiet moment of daily life, rendered with the precision and atmospheric depth Kawase was known for.

We've printed this on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée and archival pigment inks, so the muted tones and delicate details hold their integrity for decades. The matte finish means no glare—just clean, uninterrupted colour that sits flush against your wall. It's the kind of print that rewards close looking without demanding attention.

Available in four sizes from A4 up to A1, unframed, or ready-hung in your choice of frame finishes. If you're drawn to vintage travel posters and antique landscape prints, this sits comfortably alongside those aesthetics—nostalgic without feeling kitsch. Equally at home in a bedroom as a peaceful focal point or layered into other wall art.

We've been shipping art from Newcastle for over a decade now, rolling each print carefully into a protective tube and posting it free across the UK. This particular piece has that rare quality of looking equally good alone or as part of a gallery wall.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
