Hasui Kawase's Nenokuchi Lake print is a masterclass in restraint. The composition captures stillness through mist, water, and the faintest suggestion of landscape—exactly the kind of work that rewards a quiet wall and a patient eye. This vintage Japanese woodblock art is contemplative, technically flawless, and enduringly lovely.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so it'll sit comfortably alongside originals without apology. Pick from seven sizes: A4 through to 70x100cm, depending on whether you're filling a corner or commanding a wall. All prints dispatch rolled in a protective tube from our Newcastle workshop.

Frame it in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate if you'd like—our solid wood frames arrive glazed and ready to hang. It settles beautifully in bedroom spaces and hallways, where its restrained palette creates a mood of genuine contemplation rather than mere decoration.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
