This gold tiger print draws from Queen City Printing Inks' remarkable archive of vintage promotional posters, originally illustrated by Augustus Jansson in the late 19th century. The stylised tiger, rendered in rich ochre and deep tones, captures the bold aesthetic that defined the era—a time when these posters doubled as both art and advertisement for premium printing solutions.

Jansson's design work for Queen City Printing showcases the exquisite colour technique and craftsmanship of inks dating back to 1863. We print each artwork on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, so the colours stay bold for decades. Choose from A4 to A1 sizes, or go larger at 50x70cm and 70x100cm. Optional framing in solid wood finishes is available—black, white, natural oak or gold ornate. Dispatched from Newcastle, rolled safe in a protective tube, with free UK delivery over £60. Professional Framing Service

When you add a frame to your order we will frame our print, so it arrives ready to hang on arrival.

Our solid wooden picture frames are supplied with a perspex front, a backboard, and a hanging kit pre-installed. Perspex is very difficult to break, lightweight, and as clear as glass.Your print will be fitted perfectly within your frame edge to edge as pictured. For a more contemporary look we do not supply mounts with our frames.

Please allow around 10 working days for frame deliveries before enquiring about your order. We make each frame to order and frame your print for you professionally so they take a bit longer than unframed orders.

The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
