This yellow bear print comes from a remarkable archive of vintage promotional posters created for Queen City Printing Inks, dating back to 1863. Illustrated by the accomplished Augustus Jansson, it showcases the bold, stylised approach that made these designs so compelling—part advertisement, part art object. The saturated colours weren't just eye-catching; they were a deliberate demonstration of the inks' superior quality and vibrancy.

We've reproduced this piece on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the colours remain vivid for decades. It arrives rolled in a protective tube, dispatched from our Newcastle workshop, and you can display it unframed or choose from solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate finishes—all glazed and ready to hang.

Whether you're drawn to the full Queen City Printing Inks collection or hunting for distinctive living room wall art with real character, this bear has the kind of graphic punch that transforms a space without trying too hard.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
