This catfish illustration carries the observational finesse that made Russian artist Elena Pavlovna Gertik's work so enduring. Originally drawn for her celebrated colouring books, the print brings that same naturalistic charm to modern walls—soft colours, careful linework, and a distinctly vintage sensibility that feels at home in a bathroom, a child's room, or anywhere calling for gentle character.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, so the blues and details resist fading for decades. Pick from A4 through to 70x100cm depending on your space. All prints arrive unframed and rolled in a protective tube, dispatched from Newcastle with free UK delivery over £60.

Framing is optional: we stock solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak and gold ornate finishes, all glazed and ready to hang. Gertik's work pairs beautifully with other vintage animal prints for a gallery wall, or holds its own as a striking focal point in a bathroom or powder room, where the cool blues and naturalistic linework invite unhurried, contemplative pauses.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
