This bird illustration by Russian artist Elena Pavlovna Gertik brings early twentieth-century charm to any room. A flamingo, heron and smaller birds share the composition in soft yellows, greys and warm neutrals—a study in elegant restraint that works just as well above a child's bed as in a grown-up's living room. Gertik had a gift for capturing character and movement, and this piece captures both.

The muted palette gives it a timeless quality that sits comfortably with both vintage and contemporary interiors. Browse our collection of wall art in neutral tones and you'll find pieces that pair beautifully with this one.

We've printed this on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée techniques, so the colours stay true for decades. Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm and 70x100cm, it arrives rolled protectively and dispatched from our Newcastle studio. Add one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak or gold ornate—at checkout and it's ready to hang. Gertik's refined approach to animal illustration means this print sits somewhere between a naturalist's study and a storybook treasure, neither aggressively vintage nor trying too hard to be contemporary.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
