Add 4 21x30cm Prints to your cart, and we'll add 4 frames absolutely FREE!

This vintage marine animals illustration captures the moment when scientific curiosity became art. Ernst Haeckel's meticulous studies of octopi, sea urchins, starfish and jellyfish blend Victorian precision with genuine aesthetic appeal—each creature rendered with the kind of detail that only comes from someone who truly understood what he was drawing.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the silver and gold tones stay vibrant for decades. Six sizes are available, from A4 right up to 70×100cm, meaning you can tuck it into a quiet corner or make it a focal point. Browse our collection of vintage illustrative art for more naturalistic prints in this vein.

Add one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak or gold ornate—and it ships glazed and ready to hang. Dispatch is from Newcastle, with free UK delivery over £60. Whether you're after bedroom wall art with scholarly charm or coastal décor that doubles as conversation, this print brings the wonder of Victorian marine science to your walls.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
