Henri Rousseau's fevered jungle vision pulses with maximalist intensity in this famous 1905 masterpiece. A hungry lion stalks through impenetrable vegetation in what feels like equal parts fever dream and botanical inventory—the kind of painting that reveals new layers of foliage and barely concealed tension with every viewing.

We've translated this world-class canvas into a museum-standard giclée print on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that resist fading for decades. It's available in everything from A4 to A1, plus 50x70cm and 70x100cm formats, so you can match the scale to your ambition. Pair it with one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak, or ornate gold—and it arrives glazed and ready to hang.

Rousseau's layered detail and dark romanticism work beautifully across animal wall art prints that demand visual intrigue without apology. Whether hung in a bedroom, kitchen, living room, or bathroom print collection, this is maximalism that rewards contemplation rather than exhausting the eye. Framed or unframed, dispatched from Newcastle, it brings the Parisian jungle indoors with uncompromising dark romance.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
