The Venice at Olympia (1891) poster print brings a slice of Victorian theatre glamour to your wall. Created in the style of a classic colour lithograph, it announces Imre Kiralfy's gorgeous spectacle in bold, hand-lettered type that sweeps across a curling cream banner, while two elegantly costumed women take centre stage.

The artwork is full of charm. One figure, draped in a gauzy veil and a zigzag skirt of green, yellow and plum, raises a golden wand tipped with a crescent moon and glittering stars. Her companion, wearing a starry green gown and a silver crescent headpiece, looks on from a deep teal backdrop. The palette of teal, soft cream, mustard and gold gives the piece a warm, storybook feel, and the ornate scrolling lettering is a true period showpiece. It makes a striking vintage theatre poster wall art choice for anyone who loves Victorian entertainment history and decorative lithography.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
