Kitchen Prints

Kitchens are versatile — they suit almost any art style, but the most popular choices are botanical herb prints, food and drink illustration, vintage-style posters, and colourful abstract pieces. The kitchen is one of the few rooms where bold colour, playful themes, and conversational prints feel entirely at home. Choose something that reflects how the kitchen is actually used — as a warm, social space rather than a formal one.

Avoid hanging prints directly above or beside the hob where grease and steam are most concentrated. A metre or more of clearance is recommended. The wall opposite the cooker, beside the fridge, or on the dining side of an open-plan kitchen is safer and usually more visible anyway.

In a larger dining area, 50x70cm and 70x100cm work well above a table.
