The Bubblegum Knight is a quirky portrait print that pairs the solemn dignity of a classic oil painting with one gloriously cheeky twist: a suit of polished armour, a tall halberd and a perfectly round pink bubble of chewing gum. If you are searching for a knight blowing bubblegum print, this is the one that delivers the joke with a perfectly straight face.

The composition is a traditional portrait of a sentry standing watch on a stone battlement. He wears a burnished steel breastplate, layered shoulder defences and a close-fitting helmet, with a dark sleeve trimmed in gold studs and a sword hanging at his hip. Behind him, soft hills and a hazy sky fade into the distance in muted greens, blues and creamy clouds. Against all that gravitas, the glossy pink bubble becomes the focal point, drawing the eye straight to his lowered, nonchalant gaze. It is altered art at its most playful: old-world drama meets modern attitude.

Bubblegum Knight suits anyone who loves funny armour wall art with a clever, slightly irreverent edge. It looks brilliant in a living room gallery wall, a hallway, a home office or a games room, and the portrait orientation makes it easy to hang beside other vertical pieces. It also makes a memorable quirky gift for him (or for anyone with a sense of humour): choose a framed option and it arrives ready to hang, so it can go straight from the box to the wall for birthdays, housewarmings or Christmas. As a framed portrait art print, the Black Ornate and Gold Ornate frames lean into the museum look, while Black Wood or Oak Wood give a cleaner, more contemporary feel.

Part of the Ink & Drop collection, printed and dispatched in the UK. Our prints are reviewed through Reviews.io. Screen colours may vary slightly from the printed piece.
