This leaf botanical study by Alexander Francis Lydon is a masterclass in Victorian precision and colour. The Graptophyllum pictum illustration marries scientific exactitude with genuine artistic flair—the kind of antique-style work that reminds you why natural historians were so captivated by documenting the plant world.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée methods and archival pigment inks, the intricate veining and subtle gradations in the foliage remain beautifully sharp across all sizes, from A4 through to A1 and beyond. It's the sort of print that rewards close looking, revealing fresh detail each time your eye catches it.

Works equally well in a bedroom, hallway or living space where you want green that feels considered rather than decorative filler. Browse our wider collection of nature-inspired wall art for complementary pieces. Frame it in natural oak or black for a contemporary feel, or choose our gold ornate finish to lean into the botanical heritage—either way, the precise stippled detail and warm sage tones make this a print that settles into any scheme with understated sophistication.

This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
