This bamboo shoots print captures one of Katsushika Hokusai's most delicate botanical studies, rendered with the precision and grace that made him one of Japan's finest artists. The composition balances minimalist line work with subtle shading, creating a work that feels both intimate and timeless—exactly the kind of piece that rewards quiet contemplation.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, so the detail and tonal range will remain vivid for decades. The matte finish gives it a calm, gallery-like presence on your wall, without any distracting gloss. Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, 50×70cm and 70×100cm, so you can scale it to suit your space.

Whether you're drawn to authentic Japanese woodblock art or building a calming aesthetic, this print slots effortlessly into modern interiors. It's particularly striking in bedroom wall art schemes where its understated elegance and organic subject matter create a restful focal point. All prints arrive rolled in a protective tube, dispatched from our Newcastle studio, with free UK delivery on orders over £60.

Frame it in solid wood—black, natural oak, white or gold ornate—or pair it unframed with your own choice. Either way, this is Hokusai as he deserves to be seen: crisp, intimate, and commanding without ever raising its voice.

This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
