Hasui Kawase was a master of capturing Japan's most serene moments, and this snow-laden Mt. Fuji print is no exception. The Shin-Hanga movement pioneer excelled at distilling landscape into pure atmosphere—here, the clearing after heavy snowfall creates a sense of quiet revelation. Originally rendered through traditional woodblock printing, this composition now lives on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that'll resist fading for decades, preserving that delicate interplay of mist, mountain, and seasonal shift.

Kawase's work has long been favoured by those drawn to vintage travel posters and antique Japanese art, and for good reason—there's an economy of line and colour that feels both ancient and impossibly modern. The matte finish brings out every nuance without glare, whether you're viewing it from across the room or up close. Available in five sizes, from A4 right up to 70×100cm, it scales beautifully to your wall.

Whether you're hanging this in a bedroom, kitchen, or living space, it brings the kind of restful focus that only Japanese landscape art seems to manage. Dispatched from our Newcastle workshop on protective rolled paper with free UK delivery over £60, this print arrives ready to frame—or display as is. The snow-hushed palette transforms any interior into a moment of winter contemplation.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
