Kamisaka Sekka's crane composition emerges from soft, carefully balanced brushwork—a study in restraint that feels equally at home in Scandinavian minimal spaces or more eclectic rooms. The matte finish has a gentle, understated quality that suits the subject perfectly; no gloss, no fuss, just the birds and their negative space doing the work.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, this Japanese art print will still look composed in a decade. Available in sizes from A4 right up to A1, it scales beautifully across rooms and homes. Pair it with one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate, and it arrives glazed and ready to hang.

This print sits among our most-loved wall art pieces, and hung alone or grouped with others, it brings a whisper of Japanese aesthetics to your wall without ever feeling contrived. Hung above a desk, sofa or hallway, it creates a moment of stillness that doesn't shout for attention.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
