This geological map of Scotland transforms James Reynolds' scientific illustration into a stunning wall art print. Rather than a dry reference, it's a richly coloured exploration of Scotland's rock formations—from the Highlands to the Southern Uplands—where each geological layer reads as both landscape and visual narrative.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the colours remain vibrant and the intricate detail holds firm whether you're viewing it from across the room or standing close. Six sizes are available, from A4 up to a dramatic 70x100cm, letting you scale it to suit your wall and your mood.

It ships rolled in a protective tube from our Newcastle studio, and you can add a solid wood frame in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate at checkout if you'd like it ready to hang straight away. Works beautifully in a home office print collection or kitchen prints setup, where the interplay of geology and colour becomes something you'll return to again and again rather than merely overlook.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
