Ogawa Kazumasa's tree peonies glow with the kind of delicate restraint that only comes from a master of pastel printing. Working in early 20th-century Japan, he developed a photomechanical technique that captured flowers with an almost luminous quality—bold enough to draw your eye, soft enough not to shout about it.

This reproduction is printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée and archival pigment inks, so the subtle colour shifts and layered tones stay true to the original. The composition sits beautifully against its confident background, creating a piece that works equally well as a standalone statement or part of a gallery wall.

Available in A4, A3, A2 and larger formats, it arrives rolled and protected, ready to frame or display as you choose. Pair it with natural oak or black wood framing if you'd like the finished look—either way, it settles into a bedroom or living space with the kind of quiet confidence only a century-old print can manage.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
