Ohara Koson's Two Cranes is a masterclass in understated elegance. This woodblock classic captures two birds in a moment of serene grace, rendered with the precision and poetic restraint that made Koson one of Japan's most celebrated printmakers. The composition feels both intimate and timeless.

The neutral palette and fine detail work beautifully in contemporary spaces—kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, or living areas all benefit from its calm, contemplative presence. Whether you're drawn to bathroom wall art that soothes or prints with restrained colour, this Japanese work sits comfortably in either category. Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, it holds its subtlety and clarity across every size, from A4 through to our larger formats.

Pair it with one of our solid wood frames—black for a modern edge, natural oak for warmth, or white for a cleaner finish—and dispatch arrives rolled safely in a protective tube. All prints ship from Newcastle, with free UK delivery over £60. This is the sort of piece that grows on you, the kind of contemplative gaze that rewards a second look each morning.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
