Van Gogh's pencil sketches often don't get the attention they deserve, yet they capture something raw and direct that even his paintings sometimes miss. This is a study for his famous Café Terrace at Night, rendered in his own hand with that particular intensity he brought to everything. The composition feels intimate and immediate, exactly as it left his sketchbook.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so it'll hold its character for years. Available in four sizes from A4 right up to A1, it works equally well as a standalone piece or part of a gallery wall. If you'd prefer it ready to hang, we offer solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak and gold ornate finishes.

There's something quietly confident about displaying a sketch rather than a finished work. It speaks to knowing what you like without needing the fanfare. Hung in a bedroom, hallway or living room, it brings a touch of artistic credibility that feels effortless.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
