This is a beautiful reproduction of Whitbread's 1853 Plan of London, a meticulously detailed map that captures the city as it was during the height of the Victorian era. The original cartography is rendered in rich, period-appropriate colours that bring the historic street layout and landmarks to life. It's a fascinating visual record of London's geography before the modern sprawl, perfect for anyone with a fondness for the capital's history or vintage cartography.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so it'll hold its colours for years to come. You can choose from six sizes ranging from A4 all the way up to 70x100cm, depending on how much wall space you want to fill and how much detail you'd like to admire up close.

If you'd prefer it ready to hang straight away, we offer solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak and gold ornate finishes—all glazed and measured to fit your chosen print size. Otherwise, it ships rolled safely in a protective tube from our Newcastle base.

Displayed on a feature wall or as part of a gallery arrangement, this 1853 London map works beautifully as a statement piece that speaks to both design lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
