Ernst Haeckel's coral illustrations rank among the most captivating scientific drawings ever made. First published well over a century ago, this art captures meticulous biological accuracy married with jewel-like visual richness that feels as fresh today as it did then. We've reproduced it using professional giclée printing on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks, so the intricate linework and subtle colour gradations shine through without fade for decades to come.

Available in four sizes from A4 through to A1, plus 50x70cm and 70x100cm options, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a bedroom gallery wall arrangement. Dispatched from our Newcastle workshop and delivered rolled in a protective tube, it arrives ready for your wall—or pair it with one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate for a complete, ready-to-hang solution.

If you're drawn to natural history, marine biology, or the enduring charm of vintage scientific illustration, this print brings genuine wonder to kitchen, living space, or bedroom alike. The soft, detailed rendering of each coral polyp transforms a wall from merely decorated to genuinely thoughtful—a window into the hidden architecture of the sea.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
