Kawase Hasui's Morning at Tsutanuma is a masterwork of Japanese woodblock printing, capturing a serene landscape bathed in soft, diffused light. Mist hangs over water, figures move with quiet purpose, and the whole scene breathes with an almost meditative calm—the kind of image that rewards a long look and transforms a wall into a gallery moment.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, this piece retains all the delicate tonal shifts and subtle detail that make Hasui's work so compelling. Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm and 70x100cm, you can choose the scale that suits your space, whether that's a cosy corner or a statement wall.

Order unframed, or select one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate finishes—all glazed and ready to hang. The print arrives rolled safely in a protective tube and ships from our Newcastle workshop, with free UK delivery on orders over £60. Explore more Japanese art prints or discover how this landscape pairs with bedroom wall art for a restful, contemplative space.

Hung alone or layered into a gallery wall, this print feels like an open window to another time—bringing the quiet beauty of early 20th-century Japan into your home.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
