This Hasui Kawase gate study captures traditional Japanese architecture with the kind of quiet authority that never dates. Kawase's woodblock aesthetic translates beautifully to our giclée reproductions, rendered on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks that hold their depth and clarity for decades.

Seven sizes from A4 through to 70×100cm give you real flexibility—tuck it into a hallway corner or make it the calm focal point of a bedroom wall art scheme. The minimalist composition works equally well solo or as part of a gallery wall, and it pairs comfortably with both modern and traditionally furnished rooms.

Each print arrives rolled in a protective tube, ready to frame or display as you choose. Add one of our solid wood frames—black, natural oak, white, or gold ornate—at checkout if you'd like it glazed and hanging straight away. Explore more from Japanese prints by Kawase and his contemporaries, or browse our full range here at Ink & Drop in Newcastle. On the wall, this gate settles into its surroundings with the unhurried elegance of something that's always belonged there.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
