Add 4 21x30cm Prints to your cart, and we'll add 4 frames absolutely FREE!

Hasui Kawase's Rain at Ushibori captures a quiet moment in early twentieth-century Japan—a figure paused under a downpour, the wet street reflecting lantern light, everything rendered in his characteristic muted palette. It's the kind of print that rewards slow looking, drawing you back to notice fresh details each time you pass it. We've reproduced this with the care it deserves: printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that hold their depth and subtlety for decades.

You can choose from seven sizes, ranging from A4 right up to 70x100cm, so whether you're filling a corner of your bedroom wall art or commanding a dining room wall, there's a scale that works. Each print arrives rolled and protected in a tube, dispatched from our Newcastle workshop, with free UK delivery over £60.

Pair it with one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate—and it's ready to hang straight out of the box. Browse more from classical Japanese woodblock prints or display this alone in a hallway. Kawase's restrained mastery of light and atmosphere brings a meditative depth to any space—the kind of quiet beauty that settles in rather than shouts.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
