Hasui Kawase's Shirasagi Castle is a masterclass in restraint. The composition breathes with negative space, its delicate lines and muted palette capturing a fleeting moment of stillness—a castle suspended between mist and sky. This Japanese art print rewards a long, contemplative look.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée printing, so it'll hold its beauty for decades. Available in seven sizes, from A4 right up to a genuinely commanding 70×100cm, it adapts to whatever wall you're claiming for it. Unframed, it rolls safely in a protective tube and dispatches from our Newcastle base with free UK delivery over £60.

If you'd rather not fuss with framing, we can supply it ready-hung in solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate—all glazed and ready to mount. Whether hung alone in a bedroom or hallway, this print settles into its surroundings with the understated confidence of something that's captivated viewers for over a century, letting the mist do all the talking.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
