This Japanese landscape print captures Hasui Kawase's mastery of light and atmosphere, depicting a serene moment as day surrenders to dusk. The composition balances delicate detail with breathing space, a hallmark of the artist's woodblock tradition that still feels wholly modern on your wall.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée and archival pigment inks, the image resists fading for decades. The matte finish lets the subtle gradations of colour sit flat and calm, without glare—perfect for catching the last rays of afternoon light or the glow of a reading lamp.

Whether you're drawn to Japanese vintage travel posters or hunting for understated bedroom wall art, this print sits comfortably in both camps. Unframed, it slots into any frame you favour, or pair it with one of our solid wood options at checkout. We've been selling art prints from Newcastle for over a decade, and this one ships rolled in a protective tube across the UK.

Kawase's setting sun carries a quiet stillness that doesn't demand attention—it simply exists, patient and luminous, asking nothing but wall space and time.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
