This beloved line from The Gruffalo gets a tactile treatment with a fur-textured font that practically begs to be touched. "A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood" sits at the heart of the design, pulling children straight into the forest adventure they already know and love.

The natural woodland palette and restrained typography work brilliantly in nurseries and family living spaces alike—engaging enough to hold a child's attention, but calm enough not to overwhelm. It's the sort of print that grows with your little one, looking just as at home above a cot as it does beside a bookshelf years later.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that resist fading for decades, this design stays vibrant through childhood and beyond. Choose from A4 up to A1 and larger sizes, then pair it with one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate finishes for a print ready to hang straight away. Explore our full selection of children's quote prints to build a gallery wall, or let this one stand alone as a woodland focal point that whispers rather than shouts.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
