This animal study by Lovis Corinth captures two unlikely companions—a ram and a tomcat—rendered with the expressive brushwork that defines early modern German art. Bokert and Hinze are posed with an oddly dignified air, creating a moment of whimsy that feels timeless and strangely touching. It's the kind of character-driven work that rewards a closer look.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée and archival pigment inks, this reproduction holds its own against the original and will stay vibrant for decades. You can choose from seven sizes, ranging from A4 up to 70x100cm, so whether you're filling a corner or commanding a gallery wall, there's a scale that fits.

We offer bathroom wall art in solid wood frames—black, natural oak, white or our gold ornate finish—or you can opt for the unframed version and let the paper shine. Ship anywhere in the UK from our Newcastle studio, and if you'd like more paintings of personality, browse our full collection of famous art prints. This one refuses to fade into the background.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
