The Paintball Soldier print takes a traditional painted portrait of a uniformed soldier and gives it a thoroughly modern twist. A serious figure in a dark fur-trimmed coat and cap stands in a field of dry grass, while bright blobs and drips of spray paint burst across the canvas like a paintball battle gone gloriously wrong.

The magic of this altered art design is the clash of eras and moods. The background is muted and moody, painted in weathered greys, earthy browns and soft golds, with the soldier's stern gaze, medals and leather belt rendered in careful, old-fashioned detail. Over the top, neon pink, lime green, electric purple, orange, turquoise and white splatters drip and glow, turning a formal portrait into a playful, punk-spirited statement piece. It is humour and heritage in one frame, and it rewards a second look every time you walk past.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
