Animal Prints for Nursery

Nursery wall art has a dual audience — it delights children and lives on the walls of parents. The best animal nursery prints achieve both: they are genuinely charming to young children and genuinely considered as decoration. This collection is built on that principle.

Illustration Styles for Nurseries

• Soft watercolour illustration — gentle, painterly animal portraits in muted, natural palettes. These suit any nursery and age well as children grow.
• Bold graphic illustration — strong, simple shapes and bright colours that capture children's attention. Particularly effective in playrooms and toddler rooms.
• Vintage natural history style — antique-style animal illustration that sits equally well in a nursery and a living room. Popular for parents who want the room to feel considered rather than overtly "children's".
• Alphabet and educational — animal alphabet prints and illustrative A-Z posters that combine decoration with early learning.

Animal Subjects

The collection covers the full range of children's favourite animal subjects:

• Safari animals — lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos in a range of illustration styles.
• Woodland creatures — foxes, owls, deer, hedgehogs, and rabbits in the gentler, British woodland tradition.
• Farm animals — cows, horses, sheep, pigs, and chickens in friendly, familiar illustration.
• Sea life — whales, dolphins, octopuses, and fish for coastal or ocean-themed nurseries.
• Dinosaurs — colourful, non-frightening dinosaur illustration for the many children who go through a dinosaur phase.

Nursery Gallery Walls

Animal prints group naturally for gallery walls — a set of three or four related prints (all woodland animals, all ocean creatures) in matching frames creates a cohesive nursery focal point. 30x40cm and A3 are the most popular sizes for nursery gallery walls.
