Kamisaka Sekka's pampas grass sways beneath a luminous moon in this serene composition. The Japanese artist's mastery of negative space and delicate line work creates a quietly contemplative scene—the sort of print that rewards a lingering glance rather than demanding it. Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, this giclée captures the soft tonality of Sekka's original with genuine subtlety, and the matte finish lets the moonlight settle without gloss or distraction.

Whether you're drawn to Scandi simplicity or Japanese-inspired wall art, this print works beautifully on its own or as part of a gallery arrangement. Available in A4, A3, A2 and larger sizes, you'll find the scale to suit your space. If you'd rather skip the framing step, pair it with one of our solid wood frames—black, white, natural oak or ornate gold—and it arrives glazed and ready to hang.

We've been selling art prints online from Newcastle for over a decade, and every piece is printed in-house with archival pigment inks fade-resistant for decades. This particular composition strikes that rare balance between stillness and movement, letting the negative space do as much work as the brushwork itself.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
