Pink & Grey Prints

Pink and grey is one of the defining colour combinations of contemporary interior design — it achieves something that pure pink and pure grey cannot do alone. The grey adds sophistication and restraint to the pink; the pink adds warmth and femininity to the grey. Together they create a palette that is simultaneously feminine and modern, soft and considered.

Pink and Grey in Interior Design

The pink and grey palette works across every room in the house:

• Bedrooms — the most natural home for the pink and grey combination. Blush pink creates warmth and femininity; grey grounds it and prevents it from feeling saccharine.
• Living rooms — pink and grey abstract or botanical prints work beautifully alongside grey sofas, natural wood, and white walls.
• Nurseries — a gentle pink and grey palette is among the most popular nursery choices.
• Bathrooms — the combination creates a refined, spa-like atmosphere.

Print Styles in Pink and Grey

• Botanical illustration — floral and plant art in soft pink and grey palettes.
• Abstract art — soft abstract forms in blush and grey tones.
• Typography — quote prints in pink and grey palettes.
• Minimalist and line art — delicate minimalist prints in the pink and grey combination.
