This Nenokuchi Lake woodblock study by Hasui Kawase captures a moment of stillness—misty water, distant hills, the kind of Japanese landscape that rewards quiet looking. It's a clearance print, which means it's a test run, a return, or the occasional happy accident we've decided deserves a wall rather than a box. Most show no visible imperfections; those that do are so subtle you'll never spot them from across the room.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks and professional giclée techniques, the colour and detail are as fade-resistant as anything we produce. The 40x50cm format hits that goldilocks zone—substantial enough to anchor a living space, compact enough to fit almost anywhere without demanding the room revolve around it.

Pair it with one of our solid wood frames in black, natural oak, white or gold ornate, or display it unframed for a lighter touch. Either way, this is your chance to add something genuinely beautiful without the usual investment. Browse our full range of art prints and wall art posters to build a collection, or let this serene study stand alone as a moment of calm in your home.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
