Vintage Animal Noises Prints

Vintage Animal Noises is one of Ink & Drop's original print series — a collection that has delighted customers since the store's early days. Each print pairs a boldly illustrated animal with its characteristic sound in vintage-inspired typography: "Moo", "Woof", "Roar", "Ribbit". Simple, direct, and enormously charming.

The Vintage Animal Noises Style

The series uses a consistent visual language across all its prints:

• Bold animal illustration — animals drawn with confident, characterful strokes that give each subject a personality rather than just a species label.
• Vintage-inspired typography — the animal's sound rendered in hand-lettered or vintage-inspired typefaces that complement the illustrative style.
• Warm, muted palettes — colour choices that work in children's rooms without jarring with interior design choices, and that look equally good in adult spaces.
• The right animals — the series covers the classic range (cow, dog, cat, lion, frog, duck, elephant, owl) with enough variety to create excellent gallery wall combinations.

As Children's Room Art and Gifts

Vintage Animal Noises prints are among the most consistently popular children's room art in the Ink & Drop catalogue. They work from nursery age onwards, teach children animal sounds, and maintain their charm as children grow. As gifts for new parents, they are a go-to choice — thoughtful, beautiful, and immediately useful as nursery art.

Sizes and Framing

Vintage Animal Noises prints are available in seven sizes from 21x30cm to 100x150cm, framed or unframed. All produced on 230gsm matte art paper with archival inks.
