Hasui Kawase's study of Byodo-in Temple captures something quietly extraordinary—the interplay of reflection and architecture that makes this 11th-century sanctuary so magnetic. This Japanese woodblock print, rendered in his signature restrained palette, distils the temple's essence without fuss or embellishment.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée printing, which means it'll sit beautifully on your wall for decades without fading. Pick from seven sizes—A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, or 100x150cm—whatever suits your space. All arrive rolled in a protective tube and dispatched from our Newcastle base, with free UK delivery over £60.

Frame it in solid wood (black, white, natural oak or gold ornate) and it's ready to hang straight away, or display the print alone for a pared-back, gallery-style finish. Whether you're hanging it in a bedroom wall art, hallway or dining room, this Hasui print brings a contemplative, travel-worn elegance that transforms everyday spaces into moments of quiet, meditative stillness.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
