This polar bear poster harks back to the golden age of American travel advertising, when a single bold graphic and a clean invitation did all the talking. Originally created to promote free admission days at Brookfield Zoo near Chicago, it captures that mid-century confidence without a trace of nostalgia for its own sake. The colour palette is deliberately restrained, letting the bear's presence do the heavy lifting.

It works equally well as a striking bathroom print, a conversation piece in the kitchen, or a gentle nod to adventure in a bedroom. The vintage Americana sits comfortably in modern interiors without demanding the room revolve around it. We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks that resist fading for decades, so this piece will keep its composure long after you've hung it.

Choose from A4, A3, A2, A1, or the larger 50x70cm and 70x100cm formats. If you'd rather skip the framing decision, we'll mount it in solid wood (black, white or natural oak) or a gold ornate finish, ready to hang. We've been selling wall art from Newcastle for over a decade, and this animal print feels like the sort of piece that rewards living with it—familiar enough to settle into a room, unexpected enough to catch the eye of anyone who remembers when zoos were places you actually planned a day around.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
